We believe everyone should have the opportunity to have ‘wet feet’.
To achieve this, all our staff actively work with stakeholders and landowners, providing advice and information on many aspects of land and river management.
Our team also work directly with schools, colleges and universities to inspire a life-long love for river. Our wealth of knowledge and hands on experience is where our real strength lies, and sharing that through education and training is vital to our work.
To achieve this, we have developed a wide variety of educational activities for different Key Stages and academic levels, with flexible lesson plans that fit to the curriculum, giving us the opportunity to work with teachers to deliver a bespoke lesson based on their local river that fits in with their class. From practical sessions down on the riverbank, to river lifecycles and food chain lessons in class, we would be happy to work with your school or higher education facility to engage more people with our rivers.
